If Root keeps stopping in the middle of a program, try charging your robot and your iPad; a low battery can cause connectivity problems. If both devices have enough charge, your robot may need a firmware update. Please see the Settings screen in the Root app to see if your robot's firmware needs to be updated.
The robot may also stop if the motors are overdriven, by being pushed or running into something.
